I like to highlight tools and services that I have found to be among the best in the business.

For processing my digital photographs, I use Adobe Lightroom as my main cataloging and initial editing software, but I do most of my final editing using Luminar from Skylum Software.

Skylum Software is a California based developer focusing on the consumer photography and professional digital imaging markets. First established in 2008 as Macphun, with a mission to create innovative photography software, their products such as Snapheal, Focus, Intensify, Tonality, Noiseless, FX Photo Studio and Aurora HDR are consistently ranked among the top 15 in the photography category on the Mac App Stores around the world.

My go-to processing tool for creative editing is Luminar. Luminar is the world’s first photo editor that adapts to your style & skill level. It offers the versatility to support many different cameras available as well as styles of photography. It’s designed to make complex photo editing easy & enjoyable. Luminar can help tackle anyone’s photography needs, ranging from correcting challenging image problems to artful stylizing. One of the latest additions to Luminar is a filter with artificial intelligence capabilities to provide an almost magical one slider enhancement tool. The latest version, Luminar 3, has added a library function for managing your photos. This is the initial release of this capability, with many more capabilities to be added in the future. Luminar 4 will be released on November 18, 2019, with expanded AI capabilities.

Aurora HDR is a joint project between Skylum and Trey Ratcliff, the world’s most renowned HDR photographer. Aurora HDR combines everything the world knows about high dynamic range photography, and takes it light years further. It is faster, more powerful and more feature- rich than any other HDR software. Aurora HDR offers a completely new, yet intuitive photo editing experience. Aurora 2019 is the latest version of Aurora. If you purchase either Luminar or Aurora, use the code "PETERSON" for a $10 discount.

PrintingCenterUSA: An exceptional service provider that I discovered a couple of years ago was PrintingCenterUSA. I used them to print thousands of calendars and a poster and both the products and the customer support were excellent. Couple that with great prices and you have a winner. If you would like to try them for any of your printing needs, use the link above.

I also do a lot of printing of my photos and my primary photo printing paper source is Red River. Their papers are excellent and their prices and service cannot be beat.
